| Job Description: |
The organisation is currently recruiting for a Handyperson to assist in the effective management of the Shared Ownership Scheme at Cannock. This role is essential for the provision of a safe, secure and well maintained environment for the community.
In this ‘hands on’ position, it will be your responsibility to act as a link between the organisation and their valued tenants. Taking an interest in the general wellbeing of all residents, you will work closely with them and will report any repairs that may be required to community property. You will carry out any necessary minor repairs and will ensure that communal areas are clean and tidy at all times.

| Skills and Qualifications |
| With a clear focus on ensuring the smooth running of the homes, you will liaise with any contractors who may visit the scheme to carry out maintenance and repair work. It will be your overall responsibility to ensure that any such work is carried out to the agreed standard.
The ideal candidate will have previous maintenance support experience and the ability to carry out a wide range of basic DIY tasks. With excellent communication skills, it is essential that you are approachable and polite in your work manner and can remain professional at all times. It is also important that you are able to work with minimum supervision and have a flexible approach to working arrangements.
