Job Description:
They currently have an exciting opportunity for a Project Surveyor to join the team. Your main responsibilities will be the inspection of housing stock and building works, ensuring that the buildings are maintained and improved to the required standards. An important aspect of this is completing the pre and post inspection targets are met in a timely and efficient manner.

Our client is proud of the standard to which they maintain their properties, and the Project Surveyor’s role is to update the Decent Homes schedules, identifying works that need to be carried out and costing them as part of the annual planned maintenance program.

An essential part of this role is also project management; you will be required to manage projects allocated to you, monitoring the works carried out on site and then reporting back to the Service Delivery Manager, Property Services Manager & Stock Investment Manager regarding progress.
 
Skills and Qualifications
Educated to HNC or equivalent in a building or construction discipline, or with experience in a housing maintenance or surveying environment, our client’s ideal candidate will have knowledge of social housing or housing management. You will also be familiar with all aspects of housing maintenance, and have practical knowledge of contract administration and JCT standard form of contracts as well as an enthusiastic, proactive attitude. As Project Surveyor, you will be an outstanding ambassador for the association, and will encourage others to do the same. Through exceeding customer expectations and dealing with issues raised, you will provide excellent customer service - the keystone of this association.
